We grow criollo cacao with white, porcelain-coloured beans, among the rarest and most awarded on the planet. Here it isn't a souvenir, it's the heart of the farm. Walk among the trees, see the fermentation, and taste the chocolate where it's born.
We are among the few Demeter-certified (biodynamic) cacao farms in the world.
Discover our cacaoCacaobetulia was born from the meeting of two cultures and a love for the Colombian land. A biodynamic farm raised patiently in the mountains of Maceo, where the work of cacao, the life of the forest, and the stillness of the temple come together.

Two and a half hours from Medellín, and easier than it sounds: the road is paved almost the whole way, and only the last three kilometres are unpaved, on a dirt track that is kept in good condition all year.
How to get here“We came for two nights and changed our flights to stay four. You wake up to the cacao being sorted downstairs and end the day watching the valley go dark from the temple.”
“Learning how chocolate is actually made, step by step from the tree, was the highlight of our trip. A beautiful combination of two cultures, and you can taste it in everything they serve.”
“The whole stay was wonderful. The horseback riding made us feel like real cowboys, and we have never tasted anything as good as their chocolate and their homemade cheese.”
